Hello, my name is Isaac Millar! I am currently enrolled in the University of Ottawa's Teacher Education program, where I successfully taught a novel study unit at the Grade 10 level. For the past 5 years I have taught English as a Second Language in South Korea. While teaching abroad I taught a variety of grades from kindergarten to middle school. Through this, I learned to address a diverse range of learning needs and I was able to respond to educational challenges with pragmatism and compassion. It also taught me a great deal about the the need for cultural sensitivity in education. Through this experience I have developed a great passion for teaching. I offer English and History tutoring at the elementary, high school and university levels. I specialize in reading, writing and 20th Century History, but I am flexible about which subjects I tutor. I look forward to meeting new students, and helping them to meet their goals!
