My name is Kareen Simpson and I have been an elementary school principal and teacher for over 20 years. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in curriculum & instruction, and I hold an Education Specialist Degree in Leadership, an M.Ed in International School Administration, a BA and a Diploma in Primary Education. Teaching is my passion and I have worked in international schools worldwide. I am passionate about developing teachers and children as internationally-minded inquirers, who are willing to take risks in their teaching and learning. This passion helps to fuel my commitment to creating life-long learners in the classroom and beyond. My philosophy is grounded in the belief that all students are capable of learning and an effective teacher must try to reach every student. I have had wonderful experiences working with children and teachers of diverse backgrounds, having gained national and international experiences in many countries worldwide.
