Hello, My name is Stefanie and I’m a native English teacher from Canada. I got my CELTA degree and a few years later my DELTA, which really enforced my experience. I have over 10 years experience, working with ages 6-60. I also have plenty of experience teaching all levels (A1-C2) to students from a variety of backgrounds (school children, lawyers, IT, doctors, military personnel). I am very comfortable working with any situation, as I adapt my classes to the specific student / group, depending on their needs. Whether the student is looking for conversation, business English, or exam preparation. My teaching methodology is that dynamic, communicative classes help the student not only enjoy the language, but improve their memory which will encourage and help them to use it in the future. I also believe in the teacher speaking as little as possible, and thus allowing the student the confidence and tools to produce the language in a natural and organic way, usually through communication.
