Hello! My name is Gracelyn Hedrick, I'm a jazz musician currently living in the Los Angeles/Orange County area. I received my Bachelor's degree from CSU Long Beach on a full-ride scholarship studying Jazz Voice. In the fall I will begin my Master's program from the California Institute of the Arts, also focusing on Jazz Studies. I have been teaching private music lessons for 7 years through studios and out of my own/my student's homes. Along with one on one lessons, I have also taught group lessons and directed various different ensembles. Music has been my entire life. I grew up in a musical family and attended all art schools throughout my education, spanning all the way back to my pre-school, "Joyful Noises". I believe that music and the arts has the power to empower and uplift all people and all ages. I have a deep passion for education and sharing the gift of music with others. I hope to have the opportunity to share some of the things I've acquired over the years with you!
