I have a Master of Arts in English Literature and Education, TESL, as well as a Master of Arts in Economics and I am licensed to teach in the United Kingdom. I have over 18 years experience in teaching and I have a desire to provide all students with an excellent education. My teaching career has been geared to the empowerment of learners of English. I have a strong passion to teach young minds and to help them blossom into well-rounded, responsible and successful individuals. Throughout the course of my career I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach a diverse group of students including those with learning disabilities, those who performed at grade level and those who were gifted and/or talented. As a result of this I have become proficient at designing creative and stimulating lesson plans, which accommodate multiple intelligence, bring a hands-on approach to learning and keep students interested and focused. My greatest strengths include inspiring and motivating students.
