My name is Hernan Coronel. I'm a English teacher from Argentina, in South America (yep, way south). I'm 39 and an avid reader and writer, and Netflix binge watcher. I've been teaching for all ages and levels for about 16 years now. However, I've worked as a Customer Service rep and, later on, Resolution Specialist for the same department at Dell Customer Service Outsourcing. I had similar positions at Dell Sales, Motorola Iden and MSN. All of them "English Only" positions, as we tended to US customers exclusively. I've also been working for Cambridge University through Buenos Aires Open Centre, as Invigilator, during International Certification periods for about 12 years now. My experience in translation goes from subtitling as an outsourcer for HBO, 20th Century Fox, CBS (on shows such as Family Guy, TMZ and Game of Thrones, to name a few) to Literature or Art.
